Hard Surface Preservation
Clean properly. Treat the surface with respect.

An example of "mowing" strips and lines caused by improper treatment and ineffective cleaning.

Concrete and other hard surfaces may look tough, but they are not indestructible. They are porous materials that can be damaged by excessive pressure, aggressive chemicals and incorrect cleaning methods.
At Ultrasoft, we believe hard-surface cleaning is about more than simply making a surface look clean & bright.
Our approach combines surface-specific cleaning solutions, controlled pressure and careful preparation to remove contamination effectively while minimising unnecessary stress on the surface.
More chemical doesn't mean a better clean
A strong chemical treatment can make a surface look dramatically different, but stronger isn't automatically better. Likewise, thick foam can look impressive to a customer watching the job, but foam is not a measurement of cleaning performance. A mountain of bubbles doesn't necessarily mean the surface is being cleaned any better.
We don't rely on a chlorine finish
Some cleaning methods rely heavily on strong chlorine treatments after the main cleaning process to make a surface appear whiter or cleaner. We don't believe a heavy post-treatment should be used to compensate for incomplete cleaning. Chlorine has its place when dealing with biological contamination, but it should be used appropriately—not as a substitute for properly cleaning the surface in the first place. When the initial cleaning is done correctly, there is no need for unnecessary chemical application that has no real effect or purpose other than bleaching poorly cleaned areas.
The Ultrasoft approach
Every hard surface is different. Concrete, pavers, driveways, paths and other surfaces can respond differently to chemicals and pressure. We assess the surface and contamination before selecting an appropriate cleaning method.
Our aim is to use:
-
The right cleaning solution
-
The right concentration
-
Controlled pressure
-
The right amount of mechanical cleaning
-
A process appropriate for the surface
We don't believe in attacking a surface simply because more pressure or stronger chemicals are available.
Less is often more
The best clean isn't necessarily the one that uses the most chemical or the highest pressure.
It's the one that achieves the required result without unnecessarily damaging the surface.
That's the principle behind Ultrasoft hard-surface cleaning.
Our 12-Month Warranty
We stand behind our work. All Ultrasoft hard-surface cleaning comes with a 12-month warranty.
Our confidence comes from doing the cleaning properly in the first place.
No foamy show - No unnecessary chlorine post-treatment.
Just a proper clean the first time.
Just proper cleaning - The goal isn't simply: "Make it white."It's:
"Clean it properly while respecting the surface we're cleaning."
The Ultrasoft Method

Heavy growth during wet season – up to 3 mm thick in spots.

after the clean no post treatment required
Our low-pressure cleaning avoids the structural scarring caused by high-pressure blasting. We use responsible chemistry to sanitise driveways, paths, and patios, ensuring No Streaks, No Lines, No Missed Spots. This precision approach targets the biological structure of biofilm and algae without etching the concrete substrate, protecting your property's long-term integrity.

We treat driveways, paths, and patios using specific chemistry-led care. Unlike traditional methods that simply 'mow' or blast your surfaces with high pressure, our approach focuses on treating the biology of the surface to clean and protect your hardscapes for the long haul.

months later, still no growth, clean, fresh and free of organic growth. 12 months warranty of course

Our precise chemical application eliminates organic growth at the root, preventing the rapid re-colonization of algae and lichen for years of sustained surface health.
Long-Term Protection

Uniform Aesthetics
By utilizing chemistry-led cleaning instead of high pressure, we ensure a flawless finish with zero 'mowing lines', streaks, or patchy missed spots for a professional result.

Structural Integrity
Our low-pressure methods protect the substrate from scarring and erosion. We treat the concrete structure safely, avoiding the porosity that leads to permanent damage.
Tennis & Basketball Court Cleaning
Ultrasoft provides premium, damage-free cleaning for outdoor tennis and basketball courts. We prioritise safety, traction, and playability while protecting the integrity of line markings and delicate surface coatings.

High-pressure cleaning is fundamentally unsuitable for sports courts. If marking shoes and skateboards are strictly prohibited to protect the finish, then abrasive water jets should be avoided entirely. Excessive force not only etches acrylic layers and strips essential sand texture, but also risks permanent damage to line markings and vibrant surface colors. We never use harsh, chlorine-based cleaners on these sensitive environments. Instead, Ultrasoft utilizes a specially controlled cleaning agent that works slowly but effectively to sanitise deep-seated algae. This chemistry-led method restores grip and protects playability without destructive pressure, ensuring your court remains a safe, high-performance asset while prioritizing longevity and precision.

Restoring traction and color to weathered sports surfaces without surface erosion.
• Superior Traction: Restores grip by removing slippery bio-film.
• Surface Preservation: Protects expensive acrylic and rubber coatings.
• Line Safety: Thorough cleaning that keeps markings visible and sharp.

We support local clubs with special rates for multiple courts. As a former McDonald’s junior tennis player in the 80's, grip is important for player safety and performance.

previously pressure cleaned the results are plain to see, organic growth remains, growing along the "mowing" strips.
The lines you see on this tennis court (left) are scars from previous pressure cleaning and water blasting. Our treatment has cleaned the surface and removed the organic growth, but the physical damage from that earlier high-pressure work remains. We clean – we don’t repair – so protecting your court from harsh methods in the first place is essential.
